30 days later . . .
It's been 30 days since I've started on this new path and tonight I can say that I have some of the main things out of the way - business name filed and will be published soon, business license in the mail, the head shots are in the process of being edited, my website is almost done - waiting on a few more pictures - special thanks to Lauren, Tiffany and Amy, and I even have my first networking event to go to in two weeks! Things are falling into place!

Update . . .
So . . . Sunday I went with Marin (http://marinchristina.wordpress.com/), Courtney (www.aftertheengagement.com) and Courtney's Sister-in-Law to take some head shots. It .was so much fun and Marin does an great job! It was nice to catch up with both of them since it's sure been a while. Pictures to come . . .
I'm still working on my website. Everyday I get a little closer to finally getting it put up. I'll keep you posted.
Off for a walk, two days in a row!

Where did Dalion come from ???
I created the name Dalion in my college packaging design class. Our assignment was to create a collection of cosmetic products and I decided to design options for lip gloss, body butter and perfume. Dalion was a spin off of medallion and stallion and the original logo idea involved a horseshoe and flower but through many revisions the new logo turned into what you see below.

The Start of a New Adventure . . .
Today I signed up for this blog!
It's the first step in the process of being a real event coordinator. Thank you Courtney for the push : ) Once looking over everything I have done already I realized I am a lot closer to making this happen than I thought. I'm giving myself 30 days, the month of April, to get everything in order and really focus on something that makes me happy!!!
Next step . . . Revising my paperwork and business cards.
